Sassone Tartufi at “Basilicata Food Stories” on Gambero Rosso Channel
The last few months have certainly been the most intense in our activity, between events and conferences that have seen us present in every part of Italy and the world, within national fairs such as Cibus in Parma to international ones such as Sial in Canada and Expo Antad in Mexico.
In addition to trade fairs, we have participated in projects created not only to make ourselves known and communicate our mission, but also geared toward the revaluation of our territory and its preservation, such as the first National Truffle Conference of Calabria.
Those have been days of hard working but that also brought great satisfactions. Each event, each award or partecipation represents the fruit of our labor that comes from years of constant commitment.
This is why to be called as a guest on a show broadcasting on a channel of excellence for our industry such as the Gambero Rosso Channel, represents for us not only the realization of one of the many stages that await us on our journey, but also a a dream came true.
Basilicata Food Stories – A journey into the flavors of our land
Our founder, Egidio Sassone, was a guest on the show “Basilicata Food Stories” broadcast in prime time on Gambero Rosso Channel.

Composed of six episodes, the program, – hosted by Domingo Schingaro, Executive Chef of Borgo Egnazia, – aims to research and let the general public discover the flavors and smells of the great Lucanian gastronomic tradition, bringing Chef Schingaro in direct contact with food-loving personalities and entrepreneurs in the area.
In this journey of taste and tradition a stop dedicated to our Calabrian-Lucan Apennines and its truffles was mandatory.
The show was an opportunity to introduce not only our most prized products such as the Summer Black Truffle, but also the story at the origin of our passion, how it is intrinsically linked to the origins of the truffle and its territory, and even to recipes, from the most traditional to the most original and unique combinations.
For this, we’d like to thank Gambero Rosso Channel and Chef Schingaro who, with this incredible opportunity, have provided us and other food producers in our area with a platform to get our work, our tradition and all our passion to an increasingly wide and diverse audience.
A new, crucial step in our adventure into flavor and territory.
