Avocado Toast with White Truffle
Toast is a delicious finger food, suitable for any occasion: for a picnic outdoors, as a snack, for a buffet, or as a quick meal.Here is a tasty and elegant variation, thanks to a very noble ingredient: white truffle.
Ingredients for 3 people:
6 slices of whole wheat bread
1 avocado
2 eggs
Extra virgin olive oil (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
Method:
Boil the eggs until they are hard-boiled.
Cut the bread and peel the avocado, then cut it into thin slices.
Once cooked, peel the eggs and cut them into very thin slices.
Toast the bread slices in a pan or toaster to make them crispy.
Start filling the sandwich by placing the avocado on top of the eggs and seasoning with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, black pepper, and white truffle shavings.
Tips:
To fill the toast, you can also use a less cooked egg to make everything creamier.
